This is a Google spreadsheet started by Alice Keeler to crowd source educational technology tools.

I wasn't sure if it was appropriate to add to this list but I would add SumoPaint to this list. http://www.sumopaint.com/app/ It is an easy to use free online software that works a lot like photoshop. I use it with both my elementary and my college students. Other then that this is an awesome list thanks for sharing.

This works well with students who prefer to hear directions spoken aloud, but I also use it to teach pronunciation in Spanish. Simply change the voice to the Spanish speaker and it teaches students how to pronounce Spanish phrases! I assume it would also work for English Learners in much the same way.

To meet this challenge, teachers can use an emerging technology tool, GPS receivers, and an emerging GPS-based activity, geocaching, to transform their classrooms from teacher-centered environments to exciting, empowering, exploratory environments that focus on student engagement in the learning process.

This curriculum is designed to give teachers a comprehensive set of tools to educate students about copyright while incorporating activities that exercise a variety of learning skills. Concept lessons will use Google Earth to present math topics, such as rates or scientific notation in unique ways. Project-Based Learning activities will include lessons that will require the collaborative efforts of students in pairs or groups. These lessons may be of a longer duration and require additional outsource materials. Measurement lessons will make extensive use of the ruler tool in Google Earth to accomplish problem solving activities. Exploratory lessons will follow non-traditional math topics such as fractals, topology, or modern geometry.

This web2.0 tool is very important in education as It enables teachers and students to express themselves on the web in their own voice , using a talking character.
