I am in the middle of a wiki project for the Interwar Period with U.S. II students. I am always grateful for collegial feedback so that I can continue to grow as a professional. If you would like to check it out that would be great!
I hope that you are well, and greetings from New Jersey! I am a high school educator reaching out to the world for feedback and assistance with Web 2.0, formative assessments, summative assessments, "what works in classrooms" and anything else you can share with me to make me a better teacher.
I am currently looking for feedback to a blog idea I have and on some general ideas I have for my 1920s U.S. History unit. I have things and my thinking posted at 735am.wordpress.com. If you'd be so kind as to stop by and check it out I'd be grateful. I am new to all of this and appreciate anything! And I can take criticism, too. (Just try to be as kind as possible, though!)
Keith Dennison (kdennis78) Hunterdon Central Regional High School
Hi, does anyone know of any good, reliable, free online social studies textbooks? I think I'll start out general with this post and follow up individually as necessary.
I teach at Hunterdon Central Regional HIgh School in Flemington, NJ. Our school is piloting 1 to 1 netbooks and we also use Moodle. We're also embracing 21st Century Skills and revising curriculum to reflect this (the entire state of NJ must be there by 2013, we're ahead of the curve)
Teaching social studies at Hunterdon Central Regional High School since 2001. Visit me at 735am.wordpress.com to find out more and to help me learn and become the best professional I can be.
