Three Ring is a new free service offering free Android and iPhone apps for digitizing and organizing student work. Using the app teachers can take a picture of a student's work and upload it to a free Three Ring account. Three Ring offers teachers a lot of organizational flexibility. You could organize artifacts by student name, class, date, or just about any other tagging system that works for you.

I thought some subscribed to this group might be interested in this presentation on New Media Literacies.

Personalized learning plans and electronic portfolios are being implemented to help students take ownership of their own education. Could this student "self-advocacy" be an essential component of teachers' attempts to differentiate instruction? Absolutely! Consistently applied, personalized learning plans would seem to be a natural means of maintaining student engagement and motivation. Opportunity and choice seem to be keywords here - as one student said, "it just shows you the opportunities you can have if one doesn't work out."

This is a great resource. Just a note, Google Page Creator was replaced by Google Sites in 2008. Sites is great for creating a class website as well.
