Maurizio Russo is a well known and extremely talented web designer, graphic designer, illustrator and more. His works are featured all over the internet, and he was nice enough to provide the JungleJar.com readers with an interview. I've put together a nice list of websites offering free color resources for the internet masses. Most of these sites offer some sort of online web application for you to use in your creating process, but they all offer something of value for the graphic designer, web designer, photographer, etc.

We recently gained permission to redistribute this Twitter icon set with an included layered vector for our JungleJar readers to download. There are 15 icons total with 3 design alterations, sizes in pixel dimensions are 212x287, 132x188, 95x130, 68x92, and 53x66.

We at JungleJar were fortunate enough to have Chicago-based illustrator and designer John Solimine of Spike Press (spikepress.com) do an interview for us. This makes for another fantastic interview as John gets fundamentally honest with us and talks about freelancer hardships, Flatstock, and supporting your local library. John not only has an impressive portfolio to take a look at aesthetically, but just as impressive are the names of some of John's clients, but I try not to embarrass him too much.

I've always had a strong appreciation for both umbrellas and photography ..and the rain as well for that matter. Anyway, I find umbrellas to be aesthetically interesting and with the right colors laid over them, a work of art in themselves.. And what better way to show off umbrella designs than with inspired photography? This post has been a long time coming.

ProFolio is a professional ready to go portfolio that is perfectly suitable for both a personal portfolio or a more professionally oriented portfolio. Essentially anyone that wants an easy yet customizable way to display their graphical presentations such as photographs, digital art, web designs, etc would most likely be content with this software. Currently ProFolio is free, but the developers behind the software have been saying for as long as I've been aware of ProFolio that at some point in the somewhat near future they will be charging for further downloads. So, I wouldn't drag my feet too long before I gave this one a try.
