This project takes students through how Aboriginal art is made and linking it to representations of their chosen animals. They are required to make a "self-portrait" through an animal that reflects their personality.

In this project students used three-dimensional geometry, calculus, physics, art, and woodworking skills to design, explain, and construct books, posters, chairs, and lamps people would actually want in their homes.

Students can use these to collaborate within and between groups on their ideas for the mural. They can also add links to various murals they find inspiring and write about why that is. They can also work together using Google Docs to create a presentation of their idea for school administrators when they are ready for that step.
