Do E-Books Make It Harder to Remember What You Just Read? | Healthland | TIME.com - 1 views

Interesting concepts on the differences of text and how this might impact readers.  Is it accurate though?

Hmmm... I've just asked my husband to look at the article and give his opinion since he reads e-books way more than I do. I've read one FULL book cover to cover in e-book format, and I remember the story very well. As for things like characters' names, I don't know that I can always immediately recall those when I move on from a book. Plot-wise, I think it's six to one, half dozen to the other. I would say the exact same thing about audiobooks, which I listen to CONSTANTLY. I have just as good recall on those as I do on print books, though again, perhaps some of the names may slip my memory as time goes by.
