It really frustrates me that the US is often very outspoken about rights, freedom and democracy. Yet time and time again, I have seen that politics are nothing more than a pursuit of interests. The US continues its "ambiguity" of action in Syria, essentially furthering the spread of chaos. Now Turkey, and important US ally is frustrated that the US has been siding with alleged Kurdish terrorist groups.

The title is pretty spot on. I liked this article because it covered a variety of topics. It addresses Russia and Iran, and then goes back to talk about US foreign policy. I found it to be a good summary and forecast of the political situation.

The events from my previous post have led to growing doubts pertaining to the current peace talks as the government presses for control of Aleppo.

Assad regaining control of Aleppo, as pro-government forces manage to force the opposition out.

Nusra moving troops into Aleppo although it was said that the government was gonna launch an attack to recover the territory it had lost in the city.

This is a great example of how blatantly the media will publish biased reports. I always knew there was media bias but I hadn't realized how extreme it can be.

Since the Turks shot down the Russian jet, there has been tension between the two countries. Now Russian men are searching for the gunman in Syria.
