Great collection of math & science videos - especially for high school level. Each video has a transcript, which I though was helpful. This is a must have link on resources for students, and helpful for teachers as they look at presenting information.

Designed to help you find and watch documentary films online. You can browse through 1700+ films on Free Documentary TV or enter search terms to find a film of interest to you. The majority of the films are served through the YouTube player so you can watch them on Free Documentary TV or on YouTube. Applications for Education:  If you do find a film that you like and it's hosted on YouTube, I recommend using View Pure or Schooltube to display it in your classroom without showing the "related content" and advertisements that appear on YouTube.

Search engine for images that have Creative Common licensing. It's always a good idea to educate yourself about the content you use. If you're unsure what Creative Commons is, or why copyright is important, take a few moments, find a few photos and and read the "License" information on the photo's page that comes up when you click "more info." The "more info" link is a great way to learn a little bit about the photograph, author, and various Creative Common's licenses, and what (if any) restrictions are applicable to that particular work.

Syncdocs lets you "Go Google" by migrating all your files to Google's cloud. Simply select a folder on your PC, like "My Documents", and Syncdocs copies it online and across all your computers, automatically. This folder is then kept in sync. Syncdocs integrates right into your desktop opening your files in Google Docs.

Yale University has made more than 250,000 digital images available online. Discover Yale Digital Commons is the search engine for the Yale Digital Commons. Through Discover Yale Digital Commons you can search through the archives of five museums, libraries, and galleries administered by Yale. The images in the Yale Digital Commons have been labeled Public Domain.

Backupify builds a single, searchable archive of all your online data. First 2GB FREE, and $5/month for 20 GB. For those with blogs, this might be an easy way to keep your blog backed up, and also for teachers who use Google Docs/calendar/sites/etc.

Mathmaster.org is a free resource for your school where students can make use of the extensive video library (Khan Academy) and endless supply of printable math worksheets from any computer with access to the web. The video library covers K-12 math, science and other topics. Each video is approximately 10 minutes long and easy to follow. The website gives you the ability to easily customize each worksheet to target your student's specific needs

This We Believe: Keys to Educating Young Adolescents (National Middle School Association, 2010) identifies interdisciplinary teams as one of these organizational features and reminds us that these teams need "daily or regular common planning time" so they "can plan ways to integrate the curriculum, analyze assessment data, examine student work, discuss current research, and reflect on the effectiveness of instructional approaches being used" (p. 32). Teachers also use common planning time to address management issues related to individual student and parent concerns, the day-to-day management of the team, and scheduling of activities.
