"Textbook Revolution is a student-run site dedicated to increasing the use of free educational materials by teachers and professors. We want to get these materials into classrooms. Our approach is to bring all of the free textbooks we can find together in one place, review them, and let the best rise to the top and find their way into the hands of students in classrooms around the world. At Textbook Revolution, you'll find links to textbooks and select educational resources of all kinds. Some of the books are PDF files, others are viewable online as e-books. Most books are aimed at undergraduates, but there are at least a few resources at every level, from kindergarten to post-doc. All of the books are offered for no-cost (gratis) by their respective copyright holders. Beyond that, each book is as individual as the author behind it."

free time lapse photography software for a while now and finally found Perios. Perios is a tiny download and very, very simple to use. For my first movie I set the software to record one frame every five seconds but I feel I need to continue experimenting for improved results. Once the software captures all the still pics you have to export them as a movie file. I then added all the credits and music in Movie Maker. Too easy!!! The only hassle I had with the software was trying to get it to work with a webcam. I eventually just stuck with the built in camera in my laptop. The new version, launched this week, adds integration with popular social media services and includes new analytics and reporting features. Quiz School is designed to let educators create online quizzes and practice tests for their students. In addition to custom quizzes, the service provides a library of pre-designed quizzes, which range from K-12 education to technology certification, SAT and GRE prep, and general trivia.
