How to Make Money While Still a Teenager - Make lots of money - 0 views

  •
It's never too early to start earning and saving for the future. Not only will this help us become more responsible, it will also give us a hefty amount of life experience for when we're ready to engage in the adult working world. With that being said, here are a few ways on how you can make money while still a teenager. Sell Art If you're the creative type, you can definitely make use of your talents and skills. There are several websites that could help you set up commissions where you can get paid by drawing what the client requires. Research what clients are looking for. While there is a fairly wide variety of styles a client may require you to draw, there are certain standards to be met when engaging with one. Go ahead and do your research as to what kind of art do most clients need. This can vary from posters, flyers, logo design, character design, backgrounds so on and so forth. Build an impressive portfolio. You've done your research now it's time for you to look at your strengths and create a remarkable portfolio based on that and what your clientele might need. Put out your best work, make it diverse and play by your strengths! Set a price list. Before executing anything, research is extremely important. Go ahead and research about how you should price your work. Despite being a teenager, you shouldn't sell your art for a meager amount of money. Understandably, you do not have as much experience as big-name artists nor have you gotten a degree in art but work is work and bills need to get paid! Compare quality, compare prices and price your art accordingly. Look for websites that cater to artists. There are plenty of websites that cater to artists and plenty of ways to sell your art. For example, DeviantArt has a market open for artists who take in commissions for original characters or art based on shows, comics and/or books. Society6 allows you to draw show-based art and put them on different merchandises s

How to Earn Money in the Food and Liquor Industry - make-lots-of-money - 0 views

  •
Food is one of the staples and guilty pleasures in life that no one is willing to forego. It's simple yet exciting and there's always something for anyone. If you're into cooking, bartending or waiting, then here are a few things you could do to earn some cash from it! Cook We know what you're thinking - "that's pretty vague and broad" but what if we told you there is a way where you can experiment with your own dishes, or bring your own twist to an already existing dish, upload it to a website and get cash for it? Register Go to kitchensurfing.com and register for an account. Kitchensurfing is a website that allows you to upload your own recipes or your personal take on an existing one so people can try it out and you can get paid for it. Prepare your recipes. Once you've registered, you can go right ahead and start uploading your recipes. Make sure to prepare something you absolutely love and take mouthwatering photos of your dish to get more attention and interest! Get Paid. As simple as that, once traffic starts coming on to your account and people start taking interest in the food you produce, you get paid for how many people have tried your dish and actually liked it! Continue producing more interesting food and you're sure to be earning a bit of extra cash on the side while doing something you absolutely enjoy. Cater Waiter Catering services are always in need of waiters to take to weddings and other formal events and you can take advantage of this by becoming one of them! Look for ads. Surely, many companies in need of wait-staff put up advertisements to receive applications. Go ahead and search for job listings for catering wait staff in different credible websites where people can post their listings. If you personally know someone hiring wait-staff for their catering service then that's better! Apply. Of course, you will need to apply for these ads, provide them with a resume c

How to Earn Money by Driving - Making Money - 0 views

  •
There are many smartphone apps that lets you use your personal car or bike and turn it into something profitable. The best part is that you can work on your own free schedule. There are certainly many options for you to use your ride that doesn't include you driving a person from one place to another. Here are some of them: Uber Many of us know, use and even has driven under the famous ride renting service. While it's not something that will make you indescribably rich, it definitely helps pay the bills and give you something productive to do during your free time. Make sure you meet the requirements. Uber definitely has requirements for people who would like to work as drivers whether part-time or full-time. These are of course not only to secure the credibility of their drivers and put their customers at ease but also so they could abide by interstate-sanctioned laws and remain in service for the people. Check if your car, your license and plate number is perfect for Uber's requirements. Register for Uber. Uber requires you to be at least 21 years old and has had 3 years prior of driving experience before they can allow you to work under their name as a driver. At the end of the day, Uber is a business and it is their number one priority to secure the safety of their customers by validating the capability of their driver. Find a schedule that works. Whether you choose to go full-time or part-time as a driver on Uber, choose a schedule that works perfectly for you. This is often something most drivers overlook and it leads to an unstable and irregular schedule that does not get them much ratings and therefore, not a lot of customers. Delivery Service Apps There are tons of delivery service apps that are inspired by the rise in fame of Uber. Not only are they convenient, they are also extremely varied and interesting. Here's how you can start delivering goods and or services. Look up apps. There are different delive

TheCyberEsq Pearltrees - Curated Links of Online Tools & Resources - 0 views

  •
This is the homepage of my collection of curated links, focusing on online tools and resources for information management, productivity, education and some other areas. There are almost 1,300 links in this collection, gathered over almost 2 years' time, and I could continue on. I am sharing this with the Diigo community because I believe it will be especially helpful to anyone in academia. Over the next weeks or months, I hope to highlight smaller, more manageable sub-categories so that Diigo users can focus in on just those links that are of interest.

All My Faves - Vote for the Best Sites of 2012 - 0 views

  •
AllMyFaves.com is a homepage provider with which some of you may be familiar. The site organizes and curates website links into visually-oriented categories - encompassing everything from craft sites to webcam chat sites. It then displays them on a nicely pre-configured - or, if you wish, user-configured - ayout. I can tell you AMF makes an excellent, easy to use homepage - particularly if you are a visual person and need to be able to "see" your bookmarks rather than just have a list or collection of folders. I also like the great diversity of categories the site provides in organizing websites, and have found many sites and resources using AMF that I would not otherwise have found - including many helpful educational sites, writing sites and so on. That's why I think AMF is a potentially "cool tool for educators" to consider. In addition to this system, AMF provides "Weekly Faves." These are generally 10 weekly "faves" - i.e., new websites of particular interest. There is also at least one mobile app "fave." At the end of the year, users are invited to vote on further curated list of runner-ups if you will for the best new sites/services of the year. The voting for this year's "best of" ends today, so if you want to vote on the runner ups listed, go to the link I provided and cast your "likes" as votes. Once winners are announced, I will list them here.
