Web based screencasting tool. Easy to use.

Another web based tool for screencasting. I've never used it but it is by Citrix (the people who bring you Gotomeeting.com) so they understand web conferencing and video. 

Good cheap tool. It's web based and you really need the Pro account for editing purposes. 

Another screencasting tool. Jing is by TechSmith who makes Camtasia (the best tool but $300). Unfortunately/fortunately Jing limits screencasts to 5 minutes. Really forces focused video production which is actually a good thing. 

Screencasting tool. It's free and relatively easy to use. 

Interesting resource search/compilation project from a Google employee. The site is still in alpha form, but it has potential to bring together different resources from across the web easily. 

Very cool opportunity for exploring different cultural sites around the world using Google maps/iimages.

Between brain-teasers and fun experiments theres something for scholars old and new." Interesting take on organizing some of the many videos available on the internet. 

Google continues to support educators in developing student capacity to use the internet for academic search. Great resource to help teachers take an intentional developmental approach to student research skills. 

Very simple blog post from Scott McLeod. Five quotes about learning and change from the Flickr group by that same name. Very, very interesting way of producing a blog post that gets people thinking, and maybe talking. 

Formative Assessment Learning Tasks. This site is the beginning of the Gates Mathematics Collaborative work in KY (Math FALs). 

The Common Core State Standards (CCSS) videos are designed to support states, schools, and teachers in the implementation of the CCSS. The videos were created in collaboration with the states in the Southeast Comprehensive Center region based on their needs for professional development support for the implementation of the Common Core State Standards. Each video is an audiovisual resource that focuses on one or more specific standards and usually includes examples/illustrations geared to enhancing understanding. The intent of each content-focused video is to clarify the meaning of the individual standard rather than to be a guide on how to teach each standard although the examples can be adapted for instructional use.

TED brings their thoughtful approach to lesson development for classroom use. The animation of videos is interesting and worth exploring. I am more intrigued by the possibility of developing a library of good lessons using YouTube and the TED talks.There is power in numbers.
