I need a green screen, that would be so cool for making things for the online school.

I think it would be great if the school encouraged non traditional media skills. Most kids have a cell phone that will create short videos, or a digital camera that will film short films. How about teaching students how to upload these into a free program that will allow them to make a movie to tell a story. We could get some really cool projects that would allow students to have a lot of fun. If they have to write out the shot list and think out their movie before they make it, there can be some really great critical thinking they can display. Id like to see the students have to submit the work they put into the film BEFORE they make the film and then turn in the film.

Students can do visual blogging by making a visual mix mash of pictures, sounds, etc...

At either BlockPosters or Rasterbators, teachers can create such tiled wall posters of any size. Totally free, each site allows you to upload an image where the user can then crop the image and choose how many sheets of traditional-size paper to use in creating the poster.

Parabola video. This is a good example of how to make a informational video that we might expect our students to make, an exemplar. Also, this is good information for algebra students
