La BIBLIOTECA DIGITAL OVIDIANA es un sitio Web consagrado a la obra ilustrada del poeta romano Publio Ovidio Nasón, que tiene su origen en los proyectos de investigación del mismo título que se llevan desarrollando en la Universidad de Santiago de Compostela desde el año 2007.
Se pretende la recopilación, estudio y DIGITALización de las ediciones ilustradas de las obras de Ovidio, desde el siglo XV hasta el XIX, para poder conocer, cotejar y poder estudiar en conjunto la obra figurada de Ovidio, y la difusión conjunta del corpus compilado para facilitar la "reunión" de los ejemplares dispersos en las distintas bibliotecas del territorio nacional de modo que sirva como ejercicio de recuperación de nuestro patrimonio bibliográfico.
