Miss Melody Kitty's Daydream Adventures book and iPad App - 0 views

  •
Spirit-led Designs announces the launch of Melody Kitty, a children's storybook app for the iPad. Based on the delightful children's book, Miss Melody Kitty's Daydream Adventures, this animated, audio and musical app is a real hit with children. It has brought joy to children in over 16 countries, teaching them about the benefits and rewards of helping others. A professor from Oklahoma State University says "My 3.5 year old granddaughter loved the interaction sounds (particularly the airplane which she played over and over) and song. She figured it out quickly and went through the book on her own. She was even humming the song. It is amazing how young children pick up on the iPad and this book is very effective… A Real Hit!" The app also contains an original song by Diane Eason called, "It's a Happy Day!" The song is very sweet and will appeal to young children. I really liked some of the simple animations and sounds, especially the flying birds and insects. The page where tapping on a cloud makes two birds play hide and seek behind it, is particularly cute. This was also my son's favorite interaction to play with, since it sounds like the birds are having a little scuffle behind the clouds when they "hide" behind it together. Ultimately, I would recommend this book because it's a wonderful developer with a lot of heart." Lauren wrote in her book review: "My three-year-old kiddo loved the cheerful pictures, and I imagine when he gets a bit older this book will be useful in teaching him how to read (a bonus for me)!"
