The grip is firm-control and the head swivel-able for more fun. The handle and raised backrest provide more safety and comfort. A non-toxic material used. It has a removable bowl for easier cleaning. It is available in two colors pink and blue.

Factors to Consider When Buying Newborn Baby Clothes Online - 0 views

It should be soft on the baby's skin and open easily when there is a need for diaper change. If there are irritating seams or tags on the clothing items, it will be uncomfortable for the baby.

Your Family Should Have a Show: The Plague Doctor - 0 views

OK, so maybe it's not the plague but the Norovirus is running through the Sdyor house and it is not fun. You may have heard it called the Norwalk virus but my personal favorite is the Snow Mountain virus. Which if you live in New England is ironic because it's now February and it's the only snow we've had this year...

We are all guilty of it. We all do it either consciously or without knowledge. We categorize people. Jocks, nerds, beauty queens, serial killers. To put a label on someone is to diminish them, however slightly. To not see the full spectrum of what they entail. I was glad for the reminder...

It was nice to have our oldest son Brady (Age 19) home for the Thanksgiving holiday. In many ways it was like he was a baby again. we got to feed him, watch him nap and do his laundry. Then there is that other important infant task...

Your Family Should Have a Show: Don't Tase Me Like That - 0 views

It happens every year. You finish the kids holiday shopping without knowing what that one big gift they truly want is. It seems that as soon as the last bow is secretly placed on the last wrapped present they burst into the room without knocking to tell you they have figured out what they really want for Christmas...

Father's should not be allowed in grocery stores unless it is to buy beer. Or steak. Or beer and steak. I know a statement like that is gender limiting but there it is. I have almost twenty years of anecdotal evidence to this fact. Today was a prime example...

Today's Kool Idea: Original UNO Card Game - 0 views

This week has marked the beginning of summer vacation for The Daily Kool family. Unfortunately, everyone's been sick for the past few days, so we've been stuck at home. Poor kids! They really just want to go outside and ride their bikes or swim in the pool. Instead, we've been raiding our closets all week, trying to come up with different ways to keep them entertained indoors. It hasn't been easy, especially since television is not our favorite pastime. It was time to introduce a classic from our own childhood to the kids.

Today's Kool Idea: Pour Thing 1 Gallon and 2 Litter Pouring Device - 0 views

Sunday, our two boys decided to surprise us with a delicious breakfast in bed...a bowl of cereal is the extent of their culinary talents. As we were listening to them bustle about downstairs (yes, we know everything that goes on in our house), we had a debate as to who would spill milk all over the floor...yep, it was the seven year old! Poor things...they were so upset! Independence is always so important to little ones, but let's face it...those gallon jugs of milk are heavy! After we dried the kids tears and cleaned up the mess, we all sat down together for a family discussion...the thought was wonderful, but maybe next time they should surprise just one of us and recruit the other to help. Milk containers are just not designed with kids in mind.

Today's Kool Idea: Weber's Way to Grill Cookbook - 0 views

Summer vacation is finally here, and if you haven't done it already, it's definitely time to break out the barbecue grill. Many childhood memories feature Dad commanding our little charcoal grill, while the rest of us frolicked in the pool. Unfortunately, his skills were pretty much limited to puck...achem, hamburgers and hot dogs. The side dishes more than made up for it, though...particularly Mom's amazing pasta salad. Besides, it's more about the joy of being in the company of family than about the food, especially for the kids...yeah, right!

The Daily Kool: Today's Kool Idea: BusyBodyBook Personal and Family Organizer - 0 views

School is just around the corner, and our lazy days of summer are coming to an end. Okay, who are we kidding? The Daily Kool family doesn't do lazy days. We have to admit though...our boys may have kept us on our toes this vacation, but it was pretty nice to have them all to ourselves for a change. In a couple of weeks, we are back to being overwhelmed with activities. School (one half-day, the other three towns over), homework, soccer, hip hop, basketball, karate, birthday parties (there are a ton) playdates...not to mention our own work, home and Pepper (our lovable pooch) responsibilities. Pretty exhausting, huh? As our boys get older, it's really becoming harder to keep track of it all...we need some serious organization!

The Daily Kool: Today's Kool Idea: FIJI Bottled Water - 0 views

  •
Okay, we admit it. We are not big water drinkers, and never have been. Trust us...we've given ourselves lectures time and time again about the importance of drinking the requisite eight glasses of water a day, but who are we kidding? We can barely choke down two glasses, and that's with living in hot and humid Florida. While we take responsibility for our irresponsibility just as much as the next person (yeah, right), we wholeheartedly blame the Coca Cola company for our lack of commitment to healthy drinking. How dare they make Coke taste so darn good? We have been obsessed with Coke (the real stuff, not that diet stuff) for as long as we can remember. Scoff all you want, but our Coca Cola addiction has caused a real problem in our household. Our kids are at the age when "do as I say, not as I do" doesn't hold water (had to get that pun in). It's our job as parents to teach our children healthy eating and drinking habits, and the best way to do this is by example. But, we really don't like water. We've tried it all...tap water, filtered water, bottled water (whew, there are a lot of brands out there!), cold water, room temperature water, water with lemon (and/or lime). No matter what we do, the results are the same...blah, blah, blah. Are we prime examples of mature and responsible adults or what?

The Daily Kool: Today's Kool Idea: Zeroll Original Ice Cream Scoop - 0 views

  •
Here at The Daily Kool, our arms are getting quite the workout this summer...well, at least one arm, anyway. Our kids have been having one playdate after another at the house, and we've been doling out ice cream scoops practically by the dozen each day. Dig, twirl, release...dig, twirl release. Such is our life. It's amazing how one single perfect scoop of ice cream just seems to brighten a child's day...wait a minute, did we say perfect? A lofty, yet often elusive goal, we know. But apparently (and we've just recently learned this, mind you), a dish or cone of ice cream just tastes better to a kid if it has that professional, ice cream parlor look. Go figure, but kudos are important in the world of parenthood...we'll take what we can get. Pretty shallow of us, isn't it?

Understanding Surrogate Pregnancy | Surrogate Motherhood - 0 views

  •
Surrogate pregnancy is a process in which another woman will carry a baby for nine months and then will relinquish the baby to the couple. This is meant for women or couples that are unable to have children for whatever reason, be it infertility, age, or medical problems. Another option is adoption, which is a legal process to create a new, permanent relationship between a child and an adult. A woman that decides to be a surrogate may be family, friends, or may be a complete stranger. Surrogate pregnancy can be arranged through agencies that help find the couple a woman who will be their surrogate mother for a fee. If the agency arranges for surrogacy, careful inspection is done to make sure the health of the surrogate is guaranteed to avoid possible pregnancy risks. Surrogacy may also be set up without the help of an agency. Surrogate pregnancy can be done in one of two ways. The first way is by artificial insemination, in which a sperm is injected into the surrogate mother's body. The surrogate is the baby's biological mother, but after the birth of the child, he/she is given to be raised by the biological father and his partner or spouse. This is known as traditional surrogacy. The second way is to have a woman's eggs (usually about five eggs) and a man's sperm injected into the surrogate mother. In this case, the surrogate is not the biological mother. This is known as gestational surrogacy. The fees paid for a surrogate pregnancy will be anywhere from ten-thousand to sixty-thousand dollars. The average price for a surrogate mother is anywhere from ten-thousand to thirty-thousand dollars, but other fees such as medical fees, egg donors (if one is used), lawyer fees, or fertility clinics can, of course, up the price. Gestational surrogacy tends to cost more than traditional surrogacy because more medical complications arise in pregnancy. Surrogate mothers that carry babies for members of their family may do it for expenses only, or may get no rewards
