Short interruptions - such as the few seconds it takes to silence that buzzing smartphone - have a surprisingly large effect on one's ability to accurately complete a task, according to new research led by Michigan State University.
A growing appreciation for the porous boundaries between the classroom and life experience, along with the power of social learning, authentic audiences, and integrative contexts, has created not only promising changes in learning but also disruptive moments in teaching.
This module has been developed by the University of Ontario Institute of Technology in response to the Ontario Government's requirement for educators under Accessibility for Ontarians with Disabilities Act (AODA).
