This site is a basic over view but it gives specific details. Somethings are a little more in depth than otheres though. It helps you better understand the exact process of photosynthesis.
I really liked this straight forward, easy to understand and the explanations were very informative. This video is a good refresher of how photosynthesis works, a little basic though. Good job!
An awesome photosynthesis animation. Explains the process in a simple, yet understandable way with some cool graphics. It also has a bunch of other cool animations on other subjects, including one on cells, which I regret not using previously. I originally found it for my glog.
... I posted this description when I posted this link when this group first opened. Apparnetly, if two of the same link is posted, Diigo combines them into one post. I could see how this could cause a lot of problems when grading. Emily D also posted this link.
This is a really nice website, this animation details light reactions step by step in all aspects. On the top left corner, it will say photosynthesis, and if you click the arrows to the right of it, you can find an animation of a dark reaction.
really great website!!!!!! to change whether you are looking at light or dark reactions, go to the top left corner of the animation where it has a topic and click. one of the subtitles in photosynthesis and sections in that are light and dark reactions. i will deffinately be using this website often.
I agree after watching this alot of things i was unsure about beacme clear. It was easy to understad with out going too in depth or not enough information.
This teacher has posted lessons for all of cellular respiration and photosynthesis. He is easy to follow. He does go into a more depth than needed, but I agree with Derek. It's worth your time to watch.
I posted something else similar to this by the same guy, which covers the basics of the reactions that occur in photosynthesis. I liked how this video was easy to follow because of the way he presents the information, and how it went into extra detail about the Calvin Cycle which made the overall process easier to understand.
I like how slow this video goes and starts on a large scale. In addition, I like how slow it explains stuff. Although, it only explains light reactions.
I thought this was an excellent explanation of the basics of how photosynthesis works. Doesn't go into too much detail, but there are other links on the page to other videos which explain the light and dark reactions in greater detail.
Explains the Calvin cycle in pretty good detail. I think it is easy to understand. Goes through each step of the calvin cycle and what goes in and what it produces.
I like how this goes step by step, and shows it in a simple way. I like how it took you from the farthest point outside, to the farthest point inside. In addition, I like how there are conclusion questions at the end.
Contains 5 sections on photosynthesis, including both light and dark reactions. Has animations paired with text.
Hit the continue button on the bottom left to view each step.
Possibly a little too in-depth? I don't know, because we haven't finished the chapter yet... Anyways, contains a lot of good information.
Okay, we as a class seriously need to fix this problem of Diigo not giving credit to EVERYBODY who shares a link and only to the last person who posts it. Just saying. :)
This has content for the light and dark reactions, as well as an overview of photosynthesis.
**there are arrows on the bottom of the animation that say "rewind" or "continue" so the animation for each process is more that one page**
This link summarizes photosynthesis into 9 parts. It includes interactive animations and a quiz at the end. To view the next page, click "Next Concept".
This is a video explaining the two reactions. Although the person's voice is a little annoying, they explain it clearly, and I thought it was detailed enough to understand without going overboard.
**requires adobe shockwave player**
This site takes you through step by step and is slow. It gives you an animation and a description about what is happening. I find it helpful, hope you find it helpful too!
