  •
Computer networks are bunch of interconnected PC or computers that facilitate the exchange of data or some other purposeful work. The first computer network to be designed was the "Advanced Research Projects Agency Network" (ARPANET) for the United States Department of Defense in the late 1960s and early 1970s.

is this true? How do you know? what does this question mean at all?
  • you control your thoughts.
  • the only thing that matters at all is this present moment.
  • ...5 more annotations...
  • what you are doing right now is the thing that you most want to do.
  • consequences - are for the most part a matter of choice.
  • The fact is, most people are very bad at predicting consequences
  • The prediction of consequences is part science, part mathematics, and part visualization. It is essentially the ability to create a mental model imaging the sequence of events that would follow,
  • what might happen

1000 things I knew but forgot is my bi line sometimes. A lot of it does have to do with memory retention. But is memory only cerebral??? W do have body memory , emotional memory and spiritual memory. When we truly learn something it becomes integrated on these levels as well. So yes the only thing that matters IS the present moment, that is how we experience life and learning and that is how we absorb-by our senses not being shut down.

Similar to Web 2.0, which makes use of newer web technologies for sharing information, eLearning 2.0 uses new technologies to distribute information, share knowledge and collaborate. Everyone knows about Wikipedia, a grand example of a wiki, but what about using smaller wikis in your workplace?

The Evolution of the LMS It seems as though the education world is still reeling from Monday's surprising news that Blackboard is acquiring Moodle support services Moodlerooms and Netstop, launching an open source initiative, and purportedly shifting its focus away from just its own LMS to support services for the entire ecosystem.

CRTC to regulate the Internet? - YouTube - 1 views

  •
It is interesting how we talk about having open systems and a creative commons in the time where the Conservative gov't is pro closing off openess and thus transparency. They want to shut down the CBC and provide more police powers to gather information from people online. It appears that the ideas of connectivism and the power base are in theory, correct.
