Offshore oil and gas operators in the Gulf of Mexico have evacuated a number of rigs and platforms in response to Tropical Storm Barry. The storm entered the Gulf of Mexico on 10 July, making landfall in Louisiana as a Category 1 hurricane on 13 July.
With the GCC tripling its production capacity between the 2004 - 2015 period, petrochemical producers in the region must focus on supply chain efficiencies in order to retain export market share, said the Gulf Petrochemicals and Chemicals Association (GPCA), ahead of the Supply Chain Conference in May.
