"Last Sunday, I taught six kids of ages 5 to 7 how to program. "In what programming language?" you may ask. Well…I didn't use a programming language, at least none that you know of. In fact, I didn't even use a computer. Instead, I devised a game called "How To Train Your Robot". Before I explain how the game works, let me tell my motivation."

Skunkworks Robotics is affliated with Aviation High School, located in Des Moines, Washington. We are registered as Team 1983 with FIRST (For Inspiration and Recognition of Science and Technology). Our name, Skunkworks, is inspired by Lockheed Martin's top secret Skunk Works program, where the company designed many incredible aircraft such as the SR-71.

European flight simulator designers are creating cost-effective full-motion flight simulators for helicopter pilots by using a heavy-duty industrial robot to provide motion to the simulator's cockpit.

In 2010, the girls entered the worldwide FIRST LEGO League science and engineering challenge, which focused on robotics applied to medical issues. Having decided to work on hand and arm prosthetics, they met with prosthetics manufacturers and doctors.

Here is seventeen minutes of remarkable video on research into autonomous robotic helicopters. It is extremely fascinating but a little "deep" in some portions. There seems to be no limit for learning and application.
