Two Stanford professors leave to start another MOOC (Massive Open Online Course). Higher Ed implications are significant as traditional academic content becomes commodity-like: it can be delivered any time any where. Same goes for secondary/high school content.
The MOOC approach will hopefully provide our students with greater access to computer science.

A very nice (and funny!) video that includes energy transfer, and how energy travels through a food chaing and food web. It includes interesting questions in the end on food chains and webs and energy.

This is a wonderful example of an Level 2 Class organized around Units of Study. It uses Announcements, Calendar, Discussion Boards, Polls and Assignments to engage students.
