Edward Bonver's Poetry Lovers' Page provides the complete poetry collections of Famous English and Russian poets for grades 6-12. Included are the poems of Edgar allan Poe, Robert Louis Stevenson, and rudyard Kiplint, as well as the poems of Aleksandr Pushkin, Aleksandr blok, and anna Akhmatova. The site also contains poems submitted by readers, and features links to a poem of the day and a random poem.

WordThink provides you with a daily reminder to use many of the words you already know, and add many new words to your vocabulary that you can actually use every day!

Lexipedia is an online visual semantic network with dictionary and thesaurus reference functionality. This site would be great for students who are writing but are at a loss for what words they could use. In playing with this site I found it was fun to put in a word and see how many other words would come up in relation to the word I used. What a helpful tool for students.

The Persuasion Map allows students to map out their arguments for a persuasive or argumentative piece of writing.

This site provides over 42,000 spelling words and ten learning games. Great way for kids to practice their own spelling words.

Shmoop, a publisher of digital educational resources, has added pre-algebra to its list of free learning guides. The online Pre-Algebra Learning guides contain hundreds of topics with succinct explanations, diagrams, interactive examples, practice problems, and real-world applications.
