The Mars 2020 Perseverance Rover will search for signs of ancient microbial life, which will advance NASA's quest to explore the past habitability of Mars. The rover has a drill to collect core samples of Martian rock and soil, then store them in sealed tubes for pickup by a future mission that would ferry them back to Earth for detailed analysis. Perseverance will also test technologies to help pave the way for future human exploration of Mars. Strapped to the rover's belly for the journey to Mars is a technology demonstration - the Mars Helicopter, Ingenuity, may achieve a "Wright Brothers moment " by testing the first powered flight on the Red Planet. Searching for Ancient Life, Gathering Rocks and Soil There are several ways that the mission helps pave the way for future human expeditions to Mars and demonstrates technologies that may be used in those endeavors. These include testing a method for producing oxygen from the Martian atmosphere, identifying other resources (such as subsurface water), improving landing techniques, and characterizing weather, dust, and other potential environmental conditions that could affect future astronauts living and working on Mars.

We are looking for passionate contributions by utilizing for example animations, stop-motions, cartoons, time-lapse, interviews, music, poems, dance to demonstrate for a wider public of non-specialists. It should focus on the wonders, dangers and surprises of an adventurous, geological journey, which could take place indoor, outdoor, in a lab, in the mountains, at sea or in the outer space. The potential contributors should therefore be from the scientific community, but could also be passionate and professional multimedia storytellers."

"Una filmoteca para el debate en el aula El Ministerio de Educación entregará en las nueve mil escuelas secundarias estatales del país una filmoteca de 36 títulos seleccionados para fomentar el debate en el aula y los hogares. La cinemateca incluye propuestas de actividades para cada una de las películas. Un inédito Archivo Fílmico Pedagógico, compuesto por 36 películas, será entregado por el Ministerio de Educación de la Nación a cada uno de los 9000 establecimientos secundarios de gestión estatal, para incentivar en los estudiantes el pensamiento crítico y la reflexión sobre cuestiones como la discriminación, la sexualidad, el trabajo o la xenofobia. La cinemateca incluye obras nacionales como Bolivia o La Mosca en la ceniza, que indagan sobre el trato a los inmigrantes o las redes de explotación sexual, a películas extranjeras como la francesa Entre los muros o la estadounidense Promesas, que analizan temas relacionados con los adolescentes y la educación, y el conflicto entre Palestina e Israel. Las escuelas recibirán dos copias de cada película; una para discutir en clase y la segunda para que los alumnos la lleven prestada a sus casas, para debatir en familia. El archivo incluye propuestas de actividades y guías de discusión para cada título. Por ejemplo, en El secreto de sus ojos, de Juan José Campanella, el material adjunto propone analizar cómo debe buscarse el fin de la impunidad, como lo hicieron las Abuelas y las Madres de Plaza de Mayo, sin caer en la venganza por mano propia que se relata en el film. En Historias mínimas, de Carlos Sorín, sugiere indagar sobre cómo la vida cotidiana en localidades pequeñas y alejadas está signada por cuestiones climáticas que condicionan las costumbres y las ocupaciones de las personas. El ministro de Educación, Alberto Sileoni, al hacer la presentación del archivo fílmico, aclaró que el listado de películas seleccionadas "es discrecional" y por esa razón se está pensando

Primitive technology is a hobby where you make things in the wild completely from scratch using no modern tools or materials. This is the strict rule. If you want a fire- use fire sticks, an axe- pick up a stone and shape it, a hut- build one from trees, mud, rocks etc. The challenge is seeing how far you can go without modern technology. If this hobby interests you then this blog might be what you are looking for. Also It should be noted that I don't live in the wild but just practice this as a hobby. I live in a modern house and eat modern food. I just like to see how people in ancient times built and made things. It is a good hobby that keeps you fit and doesn't cost anything apart from time and effort.
