Lately, I've noticed an internet phenomenon, which personally I find to be a particularly loathsome practice. There may be a name for it, but at this time I do not know what that name might be. For purposes of this article I will call it "Follow Fishing". I did a web search on "follow fishing" just to see if this expression was already being used. I actually half expected that it might be the official name for this practice, and was surprised to not find it in such use, or any use for that matter.
