A SmartBoard mini-movie is a simple (most involve only a click of the mouse), interactive animation that teachers can download and add to their galleries. From there, the movies can be inserted into their SMART Notebook presentations. Each mini-movie is a dynamic Flash file, similar to the same files that are already included in SMART Notebook's resources.

Useful tool lets you upload PowerPoint or Keynote presentations and then share as a link. You can then insert polls or questions and get real-time feedback from students/viewers.

Site lets users create interactive maps of any location. Users add pins, then share stories or information, images, etc. Could be a good tool for students learning about historical places, local communities, etc. Also a good tool for writing short expository texts.

This site lets users create informative, web-based graphics using images and "tags", which function much like people tags in Facebook. Thinglink has the advantage, however, of allowing tags to contain links, media, etc.

Free software lets students design games in Flash or iOS modes. Games can be tested in iDevices or in Stencyl Lite software (Mac only for testing software; all platforms for design). Subscription allows submission to iTunes store.

Nice tool that is like ShowMe or ScreenChomp apps in the browser. Good resource for teachers of flipped classrooms!
