About TAP - 1 views

  •
"The Targets and Activities Project (TAP) website has been set up to allow Speech and Language Therapists, Language and Communication Teachers and others to share ideas with those working with children with communication difficulties in schools and other locations. On this site you will find activities sheets for working with children at a variety of different levels and across a variety of curriculum and skill areas. The site uses the P-scales and the lower levels from the National Curriculum as a means for organising these documents in a way which should make them easy to find. These documents use a simple standardised format to make them easy and quick to read. TAP sheets are especially designed to be used by education staff - such as learning support assistants - who have had guidance from the appropriate specialist."

" I am a speech language pathologist working with preschool and elementary students.I sign my IEP's as Jenna Rayburn M.A., CCC-SLP. I'm a graduate of The Ohio State University and Ohio University. My speech room is chronically messy. I love doing fun activities in the speech room and hate doing the same old activities. Feel free to use the freebies on this blog. Send me your ideas so I can share them with others!"

I have had great success with this game with both adults and teens who are experiencing memory loss, difficulty with categorization, describing or recall problems. It is a wonderful game, because it is inexpensive and can easily be changed to fit whatever objectives you may be addressing.

Let's Talk Speech-Language Pathology: About Me - 2 views

The biggest reason (and the most important reason) is to share my ideas and activities with other SLPs so that they can enrich their lessons with their students. My favorite posts are posts that share ideas and have free downloads. I will never charge money for activities that I post. My free downloads are more of a "thank you" for reading my blog.
