Warning! Never Disregard Equipment Safety - 1 views

  •
Two latest safety occurrences drive home the gravity of disregarding safety hazards. The proprietor and a project manager for U.S. Sino Investment, Fremont, Calif., have been accused on charges of involuntary manslaughter after disregarding a stop-work order. After, an employee died in a trench cave-in.Asphalt Specialties, Pontiac, Mich., have been instructed to pay almost $1 million for improperly dismissing a foreman and two truck drivers who brought up concerns about exhausted and fatigued drivers. These acts are accurate and fair. The fired workers are given back pay damage settlements. However the family of the dead worker will never be able to return their dead loved one. Families, friends and others related with those upon whom justice is meted out are correspondingly concerned. The harm to individuals lengthens far yonder those directly concerned in any incident. The Occupational Safety and Health Administration reviews job sites, cites dangerous practices, charges fines for same, and commands projects shut down. There have been complaints about the oversight; however incidents like these outshine the troublesomeness. Construction workers or supervisors who disregard unsafe situations need to recognize their accountability for the security of others. If they consider wind speeds endanger safe lifts, tower crane operators have the authorization and responsibility to shut down a project. That's an extremely noticeable misfortune that is stopped. For trench cave-ins, they are all too usual, and news reports on the accident infrequently travel elsewhere the region in which it happens. Quality Leasing Capital Equipment Company by Axis Capital Group - 1 views

  •
Axis Capital Group, Singapore is our first company of choice. Our family is into bed and breakfast and when we finally decided to expand to Jakarta Indonesia, since the City is booming on tourism, we immediately contacted Axis. They were actually our partners since day one of the construction of our first business, also bed and breakfast and is located in Southeast Asia as well. This business has yet to give us our machine next month, they are a bit expensive than others but the quality of their machines are tried and tested, you can trust that they would lease you a quality equipment. I never heard of any customers who had issues and complaints against them. I also commend their customer service hotline. I usually get pissed on waiting too long just to talk to real people and not the answering machine but theirs is very customer friendly, no waiting time and no rude and no nothing representatives. I have read some reviews about Axis that I thought were just some part of black propaganda or some unhealthy competition from some envious rivalries. They were unreasonable. When we paid them the amount that they were supposed to get by June 2000, our first transaction with Axis, one of their front desk assistant promised us that we are going to get our equipment within one week and they did deliver in the promised time and even earlier. We did not have to call them several times just to follow-up on or orders in fact we did not even make any call, nothing at all. When I checked the equipment, all the orders were there and in quality condition despite transported from a far land. For the past years that we are close deals with them, we never had any complaint at all. This is one company you should never worry about scams or fraud; they are just as genuine as you want your business to be. I recommend them along with my business name.

Online Heavy Equipment Rental Booming - 1 views

  •
Heavy equipment has literally and figuratively been a big industry in Asia for the last decade. Developing countries have been growing towards urbanization and infrastructures are constantly being built. In the midst of it, investors are creating more projects and needing more construction materials, manual labor and equipment. The construction industry goes in demand until it has become one of the leading markets and has been driving Asia's economy. As one of the pioneers in the business, Axis Capital Group, a company which sells and rents heavy equipment in Singapore acknowledges the fact that the sudden boost in business has also been because of the integration of technology to present machines. It made the workload easier and the task more convenient for timely realization of the project. Although the industry has been lagging behind for more advanced technological updates, it has adapted enough modernity to keep up to today's demands. One of the leading game changer in the boom of heavy equipment is the renting scheme. Since machines can easily be obsolete with new models and units in the market, heavy equipment rental can be relatively useful for short-time usage. Nowadays, it's a huge business in Asia and is considered as a billion-dollar industry. Since rental has started to become popular, other developing cities and countries who are separated by oceans and different regions, those who do not have their own local heavy equipment manufacturer complain of the lack of availability of high-quality equipment. Oceans and the separation of islands became a hurdle in the procurement of equipment. Online equipment rental has been developed to solve the issue of isolation. Ever since shipment and online shopping has been available, isolated developing cities which are also developing their own urban world. Developing cities like Jakarta, Indonesia, Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia and the Philippi

Axis Capital Group Singapore: Electrical Problems in Heavy Equipment - 1 views

  •
Electrical problem is one of the most dangerous issues that a contractor or any construction-related company can face. Even some of the most expert technician, when faced with electrical problems blank out. With the project looming with the deadline, it is best to fix it fast. Unless you have purchased your machine from an online scam rampant nowadays which has a higher probability of unfixable parts, electrical issues in equipment can be fixed intuitively than with logic. Axis Capital Group, Singaporean-based company which sells and rents capital equipment across Asia admits that in electrical issues of their fleet, the problem is considered hazardous and grave. Because of the lack of expert hands in their branch in Jakarta, Indonesia, the company even deploys their technician from Singapore to fix the issue. The diagnosis can be different in each case. With mechanical problems, you can easily determine it through the noise, the condition of the hydraulics, shavings in the oil pan, smoke, idle movement and sometimes, even fire. In these cases, the problem can be easily identifiable. With electronics, it can be more drastic when the machine entirely stops. An expert technician studies schematics, mechanics, hydraulics and operations. In a sense, he never stops learning and reading. Some companies employ substandard technicians to lessen employment cost. However, this trend is strongly not advisable- and in some cases, illegal without the license and permit- as it poses a very hazardous risk not only for the operator but for the overall project and can jeopardize the name of the company. Your client may complain when you say that the usual diagnostic time would amount to 4 hours but this is the minimum time it would take for a technician to really know the problem behind electrical malfunction. Electrical diagnoses and repairs are the inverse of mechanical. A mechanic may diagnose in a few minu

Axis Capital Group Singapore: Worldwide Challenges Facing the Construction Industry - 1 views

  •
Worldwide Challenges Facing the Construction Industry, axis capital group construction equipment rentals in Jakarta, Singapore, Kuala Lumpur Worldwide Challenges Facing the Construction Industry Jakarta, Indonesia - Despite the industry's efforts and the emerging age of construction and industrialization in both developed and developing countries in the world, the issues and the challenges continue to rise and strive. Never will the industry or any other things, for that matter be without these challenges. There are some very serious challenges facing the construction industry that are motivating new approaches to how we design, build, operate, and maintain buildings and infrastructure. While these new technologies are designed to address challenges in the construction industry, I think that they are going to profoundly affect other sectors such as operations and maintenance, emergency planning, first response and urban planning. Axis Capital Group, a construction company based in Singapore and is distributing around South East Asia has listed some of the major hindrances a construction business should endure. Global Climate Change The construction industry is faced with the challenge to replace or renovate buildings to minimize environmental impact, for example, achieving carbon neutrality, and while at the same time yielding a respectable financial return on investment. The approach to green buildings requires new challenges to designing new buildings and renovating existing buildings. In Singapore, the government gave out a warning to building owners that by 2020, 80% of infrastructures in the country should be green and meet the standards.

Caution Warnings When Purchasing Used Equipment - 1 views

  •
It's no shock that throughout the last years the economy has been an urging aspect affecting construction equipment ownership. Many contractors in Jakarta Indonesia and worldwide, have been repairing and holding onto machinery longer. A lot of contractors have transferred from purchasing new equipment to purchasing used. There are things that you should be looking for before buying a used machine if you ate in the used equipment buying or selling. There are signs that indicate when you should proceed with caution or what might be the red flag for the acquisition. Axis Capital Group, Singapore, a company that has been in the business, suggest construction contractors should observe for these warnings when examining and purchasing used equipment. A no-start engine or an engine that hard to start with lots of smoke is a no-no. If you can't test it you should never buy it even though the value is inexpensive except it's offered with a solid warranty, which can be unusual with used machinery. When you try, probabilities are you aren't acquainted with the type or model of the equipment, so do not hurry and be impulsive, and don't get scammed. You must have the vendor clarify all the controls, and make certain you test every single speed and movement. If it's certainly cold then anticipate some smoke. Watch out for leaking fluids under the machine. Make certain you examine end to end a backhoe loader and the cylinders. Likewise make certain to try all the hoses or arms. Pay attention with the coolant in the oil or oil in the coolant. This is an indication of an engine that will produce nothing except a misused time for you. Take note of anything seized. Likelihoods are if it was seized it wasn't well maintained. Check the welds on the backhoe, loader arms or buckets. Machinery continuously gets beaten up 'til it breaks, and then it's welded. A weld is not ever by means of conventional or as sturdy as the original steel, and above the firm mi

Asia Continues To Attract Foreign Market - 7 views

  •
According to the Asia Construction Outlook 2014 survey, the prospect for both the size and the growth of Asian Construction market remains positive with 92% respondents in agreement. It is expected that the market will continue growing healthier for 50% for the remainder of the year. The survey results in AECOM 2014 indicates that Indonesia, Malaysia and Thailand stand out as countries which respondents expect to become increasingly attractive to foreign suppliers of construction service. However, comparing to the 2014 survey results with those from the 2013 survey indicate that respondent's views have become more pessimistic regarding long-term market attractiveness in Singapore and India. Indonesia's construction industry has performed well during the Jakarta review period, driven by strong economic activity and high levels of investment. The country, along with Malaysia is said to be the forefront of market growth in the region for the next 12 months. Multinationals have been increasing their footprint in Asia for years as they have moved from selling into the region to also investing here. Asian companies are also being competitive threats outside the region as well, as they set their site on the global dominance. It is never easy to set foot into a developing nation. Aside from the competition that may arise against local businesses, there are also competitors among fellow foreigners, causing a lot of complaints. Indonesia is a key target for infrastructure companies because its nearly 250 million people are increasingly demanding better health care and transportation. In 2012, the government has even imposed a stricter process for foreign investors that plan to start business in the country. On the other hand, in the sudden increase of companies with the same industry, project managers and the public have become ke
