Collection of Lessons / Units to support the Australian Curriculum across multiple learning disciplines, including History.

Welcome to Australian History Mysteries. It is a subscription-based website containing inquiry learning case studies that are directly relevant to many aspects of Australian Curriculum: History. Its current 17 case studies include a wealth of video, print and interactive content, and its inquiry learning approach encourages historical skills development, including equipping students with the capacity to develop historical thinking and imagination. There is a Primary School section of the site with resources relevant to the new Australian Curriculum: History - Years 3-6.

Teachers and students are encouraged to create their own digital resources. Education Services Australia has created three tools that are easy to use and offer flexible methods for creating a variety of resources.

This selection of digital curriculum resources from the National Digital Learning Resources Network is designed to assist teachers to find, use and adapt teaching and learning materials that are aligned to the history subject area of the Australian Curriculum.

History Teachers Association of Australia have created units of work to support the Australian Curriculum: History. Assessments refer to Bloom's thinking levels and Gardner's Multiple Intelligences.

By providing online links to further information and teaching and learning activities, it helps teachers to make investigations of these significant days an engaging and meaningful educational experience for students. Selecting 'Current event' in the calendar will take you to events on or near the current date or the calendar may be browsed by month.
