  • Linen-Freshening Spray   Excerpted with permission from The Joy of Green Cleaning  1 cup vodka 1 cup distilled water 16 drops of lavender essential oil Mix the ingredients and put into a spray bottle. Spray directly onto towels, sheets and pillows.

Simple, Natural 190-Proof Air Freshener - 0 views

  • Simple Air Freshener  4 drops essential oil of white thyme6 drops essential oil of tea tree8 drops essential oil of clove2 teaspoons 190-proof alcohol    Filtered or distilled water 1. In a glass measuring cup, stir the oils into the alcohol. If the oils do not dissolve in the alcohol completely, add another teaspoon of alcohol. Add water to the 1/2-cup line. Pour the solution into a glass bottle with a spray nozzle. 2. To use, spray into the air, avoiding people’s faces.
