Society for Planetary SETI Research (SPSR) is an organization of scientists and scholars from a variety of disciplines formed around their common interest in anomalies on planets and their satellites whose origins may be the result of intelligent activity. The focus of SPSR research is primarily the surfaces of Mars and the Moon as revealed by orbiter and lander investigation.
This unique resource covers the entire field of astronomy and astrophysics and this online version includes the full text of over 2,750 articles, plus sophisticated search and retrieval functionality, links to the primary literature, and is frequently updated with new material. An active editorial team, headed by the Encyclopedia's editor-in-chief, Paul Murdin, oversees the continual commissioning, reviewing and loading of new and revised content.
SciAsto.Net is a network of amateur astronomers in love with the SCIence of ASTROnomy. Our roots go back to the mid 1990s and the astronomy newsgroup sci.astro (still in existance). A few active members decided to start an IRC chat group on the undernet server. Spearheading that effort was Chris Sheehan, Bob Hale
Our on-line system is a detailed sky map. We generate the map automatically using our database with the positions and basic characteristics of space objects.

Milkyway@Home uses the BOINC platform to harness volunteered computing resources, creating a highly accurate three dimensional model of the Milky Way galaxy using data gathered by the Sloan Digital Sky Survey. This project enables research in both astroinformatics and computer science.
