this book is available in the ASD library (a few copies) and discusses how technology can enhance writing instruction - themes include an "expanded definition of literacy" to include multiple media and the benefits of "published' work. (Dwain, this is sort of in response to my last post...)
I have a lot of questions about this approach to teaching. Though she says she doesn't lecture, she in fact does later through modeling (semantics). In regards to the projects listed, while they're compelling social activism, I'm curious about their emphasis on the skills demanded by our standards.
