I started with my frequently used KPT filter, "FraxPlorer". With that and other tools, I created this series of images in my usual way utilizing various filtering, layering, and color enhancement effects in Photoshop. Among the steps of this process, I used Mehdi's Kaleidoscope set to 6 petals. It is using the petals set to 6 that makes this image into a hexagram. The end result was this series of eight color variations. This one I initially named Abstract Image 871, then later gave the entire series the final name, "Luminous Hexagram".
