A Tear in the Space Time Continuum - News - Bubblews - 0 views

  •
As I've said in the last few recent posts, I decided to bring some of my older works forward and publish them for my audience here at Bubblews. "A Tear in the Space Time Continuum" is another example of an image that I created using the fractal generator software, Vchira, with post work in Photoshop. Just after creating it, I sat back, gazed at it, and the first thing that came to my mind was that it looked like a tear in the space/time continuum, so without any further thought, I decided to simply give it that title, "A Tear in the Space Time Continuum". Sometimes the titles I give my abstract pieces are almost like Rorschach tests. The first thing that I see in it becomes the title. If any of them were to be interested, psychologists would probably have a field day deconstructing my titles.

In the Hall of Portals Variation 1 - News - Bubblews - 0 views

  •
Like I so often do, I used the KPT fractal generator filter "FraxPlorer", with which I created the base image from which this work of art was derived. I then followed up by putting that base image through a combination of additional filtering, layering, and color enhancement effects in Photoshop. Abstract Image 835 was the result, which I later put through some more filtering and came up with the first in a 4 piece series of postmodern contemporary abstract fractal art images, this one named, "In the Hall of Portals Variation 1". This piece of postmodern contemporary fractal abstract art, In the Hall of Portals Variation 1, is now presented here at Bubblews in this square aspect ratio, complete with the digitally embossed Bill M. Tracer Studio logo signature seal, small as not to distract from the design, while decidedly present, showing authenticity.

Historical Art And Painting - Panamericanart - 0 views

  •
In 1990 we started as Galerie Malraux in Los Angeles, California: at that time the gallery focused mainly on Caribbean art. In 1994 the gallery followed its founder to Dallas, Texas, in a transition which marked the beginning of Pan American Art Gallery; the inaugural exhibit was a massive 400-piece show of important modernist Cuban art. By the early 2000's the gallery moved to a 4500 square feet exhibition space in the upscale Turtle Creek area of Dallas; the first show there, a comprehensive view of Cuban photography titled "Cuban Photography - Revolutionary to Contemporary" was named one of the ten best shows of the year in America.

The Eye Again Arises Variation 2 - News - Bubblews - 0 views

As is often the case, of late, I started off using the KPT filter "FraxPlorer", along with considerable additional layering, color enhancements, and filtering effects in Photoshop. Through my processes, I created this image in my Abstract Image series. First named Abstract Image 1073, I later renamed this one "The Eye Again Arises Variation 2", second in a contemporary 5 piece postmodern fractal abstract series. This piece of fractal art, which is perhaps a little "Cthulhu like" in its overall feel, is now presented here at Bubblews in this square aspect ratio, complete with the digitally embossed Bill M. Tracer Studio logo signature seal, small as not to distract from the design, while decidedly present, showing authenticity.

Luminous Hexagram Variation 8 - News - Bubblews - 0 views

  •
Finally we reach the eighth and last piece in this particular series, and again, like all the others of this series, I started with my frequently used KPT filter, "FraxPlorer". With that and other tools, I created this series of images in my usual way utilizing various filtering, layering, and color enhancement effects in Photoshop. Among the steps of this process, I used Mehdi's Kaleidoscope set to 6 petals. It is using the petals set to 6 that makes this image into a hexagram. The end result was this series of eight color variations. This one I initially named Abstract Image 875, then later gave the entire series the final name, "Luminous Hexagram". eighth in this series, this piece of postmodern contemporary fractal abstract art, Luminous Hexagram Variation 8, is now presented here at Bubblews in this square aspect ratio, complete with the digitally embossed Bill M. Tracer Studio logo signature seal, small as not to distract from the design, while decidedly present, showing authenticity.

Getting Started with Firefox extension - Diigo help - 0 views

  •  Feature Highlight: Highlights Diigo saves the day with "highlights". Highlights let you select the important snippets on a page and store them in your library with the page's bookmark. Let's try it. Just open a page, maybe one of your old-school bookmarks or one of your new cat bookmarks, and find the information on that page you actually care about. Select that important text. Got it? Okay, now put your hemet on, 'cause this might blow your mind! Click the highlight icon on the Diigo toolbar. It's the one with the "T" on a page with a yellow highlighter. You will notice that the selected text gets a yellow background. This means that the text has been saved in your library, and as long as you have the Diigo add-on the text will be highlighted on the page! How's that for easy?   Now you've highlighted the text. It will appear in your library within the bookmark for the page it is on. Go to your library and you can see how it works. If you're not sure how to get to your library, just click the second icon on the toolbar (Diigo icon to the left of the search bar) and then select "My Library »".
  • Sticky Notes on the Web What? I can put a sticky note on a web page? How? Oh, that's right! Diigo. Just right-click anywhere on the page and choose to "add a floating sticky note". Type up your note and choose "Post", then move the note anywhere on the page. You have to type a note first, before you move it where you want, otherwise there's nothing to move!

Quetzalcoatl Blossom Variation 6 - News - Bubblews - 0 views

  •
Just like the other images in this series, I created Quetzalcoatl Blossom Variation 6 with various filtering, layering, and color enhancement effects in Photoshop, including among others the KPT filter, and fractal generator, "FraxPlorer". First named, Abstract Image 959, I later renamed it Quetzalcoatl Blossom Variation 6. Through further layering and color effects, I explored this basic image theme in 8 variations. When first gazing upon the finished image, my initial thought was of a large feathery headdress with a Quetzalcoatl style. However, it was more than just a headdress, for a comparable energy up-wells from within the Earth rising into and even infusing the headdress. So with this image I find myself easily imagining a figure in the lotus meditative position through which this energy blossoms from beneath, and fills the headdress.

Like the other images in this series,I created Quetzalcoatl Blossom Variation 7 with various filtering, layering, and color enhancement effects in Photoshop, including among others the KPT filter, and fractal generator, "FraxPlorer". First named, Abstract Image 960, I later renamed it Quetzalcoatl Blossom Variation 7. Through further layering and color effects, I explored this basic image theme in 8 variations. When first gazing upon the finished image, my initial thought was of a large feathery headdress with a Quetzalcoatl style. Pool of the Spiral King Variation 3 - News - Bubblews - 0 views

Using several KPT filters, most notably FraxPlorer, as well as other layering, filtering, and color enhancement effects in Photoshop, I created this image in my Abstract Image series. First named Abstract Image 1069, I later renamed it "Pool of the Spiral King Variation 3". This is the variation 3 of a 5 piece series. I originally considered giving this series the title "Reflecting in the Pool of the Spiral King", but decided that was just too long. "Pool of the Spiral King" covers it just fine with a greater economy of words. This piece of postmodern contemporary fractal abstract art is now presented here in this square aspect ratio, complete with the digitally embossed Bill M. Tracer Studio logo signature seal, small as not to distract from the design, while decidedly present, showing authenticity.
