After much contemplation, two projects win the Editor's undisputed accolades - Both are residential architectural exercises - one in Mexico by Studio mta+v where the architect simplifies function while maximizing onsite resources for a stunning, contemporary villa bathed in natural textures. And the other is in Muzaffarnagar, UP, where Studio AVT Architects marry the principles of courtyard typology with Vaastu to define an inward-looking home layered with all the trimmings of a contemporary ambience and lifestyle.
