  • eam Viewer is a free application that allows devices such as the iPad and iPhone to remotely log in to a stationary computer.  In the morning, I come into my office and set up my laptop and then carry around my iPad with me the rest of the day.  By using the iPad, I not only have access to my wide variety of apps, but I can also remotely project my laptop screen on the iPad and make use of the programs I have running in my office.  By doing this, I have eliminated the need to carry another piece of heavy equipment throughout the busy school hallways.

Without such communication aids, the argument went, emails are easy to misinterpret. There’s only so much that emoticons and careful word choice can do to convey one’s affect, so some messages are better delivered in person or over the phone.

  • Frequent switching may be related with difficulty concentrating, which is also an indicator of depressive symptoms among students.
  • the results don’t indicate that an excessive amount of file-sharing, switching between apps, and chatting online actually causes depression; correlation does not imply causation. The research simply shows that those who have depression are likely to use the Internet in certain ways.
