After the senate decided they had to assasinate Caesar they had to have Brutus be involved too. They say that Brutus was last to stab Caesar. The night before they say it was the hale of the Gods and a lot of weird things were happening. In the Cleopatra movie they said that Calpurnia ( Caesar's second wife) had a nightmare that either she saw Caesar murdered or a statue of him covered in blood.
