When I don't like someone and they make my skin crawl I can't do anything about it but since she is rich and former White House 1st lady she can?

maxaqramirez on 06 Sep 17You actually can do things about it. And yes, she can. She is allowed to say that Trump made her uncomfortable.

erin_stokes on 06 Sep 17I actually think almost the exact opposite. While I think Hilary went a little overboard, she had every right to do so, as stated in the first amendment: "Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the Government for a redress of grievances." And if it wasn't in Hilary's right to write that book and state her personal opinions on this matter, then what gives us the "right" to bring back nazis and treat others as second class citizens, saying it's all opinion and just exercising their free speech? And yes, you could do something about it, and many people are doing something about it. Hilary is just much more likely to get noticed and was noticed by the press because of her status.
