Romney defeats Santorum by 8 votes in Iowa - CNN.com - 2 views

For the Republican nomination it is going to come down to if the true conservatives come out and support or not. The nomination will be for Romney if they do not come out and Santorum will win if they do. Gingrich, Bachman, and Huntsman have no chance in my opinion. Paul on the other hand will be an interesting story. He is appealing to the younger voters, so his success will be based upon if the <25 population comes out to vote.
Brazil Elects Non-Metaphorical Clown to Congress - 0 views
-
Americans may feel that the nation is run by a bunch of clowns in Washington, but millions of citizens in Brazil went to the polls Sunday to elect an actual clown to congress. Francisco Everardo Oliveira Silva - known by the clown name Tiririca, which means "grumpy" - received more than 1.3 million votes, more than double that of the next closest candidate, Reuters reported Monday. Tiririca ran for a congressional seat in Sao Paulo state, the nation's most populous, using the campaign slogan "It can't get any worse." He offered no promises other than reporting back to constituents how their representatives spent their time. "What does a congressman do? The truth is I don't know, but vote for me and I'll tell you," he said in campaign advertisements. Public prosecutors had tried to prevent the clown from running because of "evidence that he is illiterate," Reuters said. Tiririca appeared at public events wearing a blond wig and silly outfit. "This bill is the CLOUD Act. It was never reviewed or marked up by any committee in either the House or the Senate. It never received a hearing. It was robbed of a stand-alone floor vote because Congressional leadership decided, behind closed doors, to attach this un-vetted, unrelated data bill to the $1.3 trillion government spending bill."

This woman said she would condone guns in a Wyoming school to protect students from bears. Is this the woman we want to make decisions for our schools?

Betsy DeVos does not belong running public schools. She has never taught in one and she has never went to one. The most she has done is mentor in one. She sends her children to private schools. She is the wrong person for the job. Who would condone school children to have guns to "Protect them from Bears."
