Kidepo Valley National Park is located in the Northern-Eastern Part of Uganda on the border with Sudan. It is one of the Uganda's most spectacular park and is about 1,442 square kilometers. As a result the variety of animal species in the park is equally abundant including many which are found nowhere else in Uganda.

Volcanoes National Park, le Parc National des Volcans, extends over 250 sq km in the Northwest corner of Rwanda, on its border with Uganda and the DRC Congo. The park includes five of the Virunga Mountains and eight dormant volcanoes, the tallest of which rises to nearly 15000ft.
