Radbox is a great web tool that allows users to easily add online videos to a queue and watch them later on a computer, smartphone, tablet or television. It requires a sign up.

Pinterest has now a service where you can pin the videos you stumble upon online. You can organize them into visually appealing pinboards and access them whenever you want. Check out this article I wrote about this service to learn more about it.

WatchKnowLearn: This site organizes educational videos and for ages 3-18. WatchKnowLearn has indexed over 33,000+ educational videos, placing them into a directory of over 3,000 categories.Teachers can also add their own videos to the site.

YouTube EDU: YouTube's channel for education offers lessons, videos, lectures and more for teacher and student use on the familiar YouTube platform.

TeachingChannel (Tch): Teaching Channel is a video showcase of innovative and effective teaching practices in America's schools. More than 35,000 members have registered to share ideas and inspiration on the site.

TeacherTube: Launched in 2007 and none among fans as "the other tube," TeacherTube allows teachers to access, upload and share educational videos.

Curriki: With over 6.5 million users, Curriki is a non-profit that boasts over 40,000 peer-reviewed and classroom-tested K-12 learning resources. Users may access, contribute and publish content.

Curriculum21: This comprehensive website is a little different, because it provides resources for teachers related to creating the classroom of the future such as webinars and podcasts in addition to videos.

Splice out the YouTube segment you want and share

This is another web tool that lets users select a specific portion of a video to play. The difference between this tool and the ones mentioned above is that it only lets you specifiy a start time but no end time.

A great site for media resources

A Cleaner Internet is a browserextension available for Chrome,Firefox, and Safari. The extensionremoves all of the related videosand advertisements that surroundvideos on YouTube. 

Critical thinking animations

Today, through Tekzilla I learned that Screen Leap offers a Chrome extension that can make screen sharing even easier. The extension allows you to share your screen from your Gmail account. When you have the extension installed you can share your screen just by clicking "share screen" in the dialogue box that appears in the lower-right corner of your Gmail screen. The chronic learners among us will be happy to hear that the site is testing an interactive -- and potentially educational -- feature that lets users add quizzes to their clips. A new page on the YouTube site describes a "Video Questions Editor Beta," which lets channel owners display multiple-choice questions on top of their videos as they play. The page is pretty blank at the moment, but the beta is up and running for those who opt in.
