Some of you have asked for resources on Math games. I have had a look at the archive and come up with the list below. The websites below are a good starting point when looking for challenging and interactive math games for your students and kids. The common thing among all the titles mentioned below is that they are free, student friendly and have a user responsive interface.
1- Mathsframe
Mathsframe has more than 170 free interactive maths games. All resources are designed, by an experienced KS2 teacher, to help children to visualize numbers, patterns and numerical relationships and to develop their mathematical thinking. New games are added most weeks.
2- Plus Magazine
Plus is an internet magazine which aims to introduce readers to the beauty and the practical applications of mathematics. Plus provides articles and podcasts on any aspect of mathematics and it also features review of math books and well as challenging math puzzles.
3-McGraw Hill Mathematics eGlossary
This website offers a wide variety of written and verbal definitions and explanations of mathematics terms. It also helps users browse through it by letting you select the grade level you are in.
4- Multiplication
As it name indicate this is a website that help teachers and parents teach their kids multiplication through the use of interactive tables, games, and puzzles.
5- Motion Math Games
Motion Math designs challenging math games to sharpen your kids mathematical wits. It also has a mobile version to install on your iPad.
6-Tutpup
Tutpup is a website where your kids can compete in fun, educational games against other kids from all over the World!
7- Buzz Math
BuzzMath is the latest interactive math workbook which provides middle school students with immediate detailed feedback, examples, and motivation to allow them to progress at their own pace.
