Lots of backchannel capabilities are emerging as many educators and event planners see the value of providing, managing and leading in the backchannel chats that WILL and DO occur whether you wish they did or not.

Yacapaca is a great web tool for educators. It allows teachers to have access to a plethora of already made quizes. They can also make their own using the provided tools there. I have just discovered this awesome website today and I think it is really worth reviewing here in Educational Technology and Mobile Learning. Yacapaca is absolutely free and does not require any software download or installation. You just need to register with them using your email address. As you head over to Yacapaca main page you will find two big buttons one says ' I am a teacher' and the other ' I am a student'. for students to log in they need an access key from their teachers. Once logged in you can choose your country ( it does not support all countries ) and a list of categories will be displayed. Study Buddies is one of the features I like so much about this website. Students can search for and find other people with whom they can work, collaborate and interact online. They can add enough buddies to create a study group. There is also the possibility that students create a class or enroll into one to study a topic at their own pace.
