Run flat tyres can be fitted to cars, trucks, SUVs, vans and buses. They don't need to be replaced if they go flat. Run flat tyres are designed to keep you rolling even after total tyre deflation. Some run flats also have deformable-tread technology that allows you to continue steering when the tyre is deflated, for example after a puncture. Having a set of run flats means that you no longer need to worry about getting stranded or delayed from an inconvenient tyre puncture.
Run-Flat Tyres (RFT) feature unique technology that allows you to drive safely when a tyre is punctured. This enables you to stop or continue driving to a safe place even with a damaged wheel rim. When RFT are installed as wheels, in the event of damage by objects such as nails and screws, this damage can cause deflation of the tyre but will not cause additional permanent damage to the wheel or the vehicle.
