The all metal body of the device gives it a premium look and feel and the features match the quality of the device as well. Introduced in August, 2015, Xiaomi Redmi Note 2 is the successor to the much successful Redmi Note. Featuring an aluminum frame, Redmi Note 2 comes with swappable back shells in various different colors. It sports a 5.5 inch Full HD display with a resolution of 1920x1080 pixels.

In the month of August, 2015, Xiaomi launched two variants of the successor to Redmi Note- namely Redmi Note 2 and Redmi Note 2 Prime. The Redmi Note 2 Prime is the enhanced version of the two with a greater clock speed of CPU and more storage space.
