The British Women Romantic Poets Project is a digital initiative of the University of Carolina Library, Davis (USA). The resource consists of E-text editions of poetry by British and Irish women written (not necessarily published) between 1789 (the onset of the French Revolution) and 1832 (the passage of the Reform Act), a period traditionally known in English literary history as the Romantic period. These are fully searchable online.

The FT was one of the first English periodicals intended primarily for women. Published during 1709 and 1710, it contained satirical and morally edifying observations on contemporary life and mores. This Web site describes the Female Tatler's content and places it in its historical context. It contains sample primary texts and short essays on the periodical's authorship, publication, and readership.

is a collaborative undertaking, involving participants from universities in Canada, the United States, England, and Australia. It is writing the first full scholarly history of women's writing in the British Isles. At the same time, it is conducting an experiment in humanities computing and providing both training and scholarly community for graduate students. The project will provide an overarching account of women's writing across the centuries. This will appear in the form of four individually authored volumes of history together with an extensive, collaboratively authored, electronic textbase

British Women Playwrights around 1800 is a website maintained by the University of Montreal. It includes full texts for a selection of plays not readily available. Supporting the plays are a number of resources freely available on the site including chronologies, essays, bibliographies, indexes and teaching resources.

This project, hosted by Indiana University, USA, seeks to produce highly accurate transcriptions of works by British women writers of the 19th century. The works include anthologies, novels, political pamphlets, religious tracts, children's books, and volumes of poetry and verse drama. Writers represented include Josephine Butler and Barbara Leigh Smith Bodichon

The Brown University Women Writers Project is a long-term research project devoted to early modern women's writing and electronic text encoding. The main goal of the project is to make texts by pre-Victorian women writers accessible to a wide audience of teachers, students, scholars, and the general reader. We support research on women's writing, text encoding, and the role of electronic texts in teaching and scholarship. The website hosts Women Writers Online, a full-text collection of early women's writing in English that contains more than 320 texts published between 1526 and 1850.
