The Rhine is the longest river in Germany and one of the longest (and most important!) rivers in Europe. It flows through four countries - Switzerland, Germany, France and the Netherlands, before ending its journey in the North Sea at Rotterdam.
Germany's wealthiest city, Dusseldorf is a city of skyscrapers and industry located on the Rhine. The city itself spreads across both sides of the river and all industry has been designated to the left side of the river while the right banks of the Rhine will allow visitors a look at the culture and traditions of this lovely city
