Our trip report from S/Y Maldives Siren from our cruise director Tristan. 10 nights trip diving between Male and Huvadhoo atolls along the eastern side of the Maldivian archipelago. Wrecks, soft coral covered reef walls, shallow lagoons and coral gardens.Schools of fish, reef sharks, rays and plenty of macro critters are seen enroute, as we dive some of the top rated dive sites of the Maldives.

For our final "Maldives Southern " itinerary, touring around Gaafu Atoll for the 2012 season, we had a select number of ten guests join the S/Y Maldives Siren escorted by Ethan Gordon for a photography workshop. The divers hailed from the United States, South Africa, Australia and our Honeymooners Stuart and Becky from the UK, via Thailand.

This time I left the main office in Thailand to go and see how the diving in the Maldives . I arrived a day before the guests and had time to get to know the crew. The next day our small group of guests arrived from the USA, Canada and Germany for our 10-night Central Itinerary through Ari Atoll to Laamu Atoll.

The 34 metre S/Y Maldives Siren has been designed and built by Worldwide Dive and Sail on the island of Sulawesi. She is a traditional Indonesian 'gaft-rigged Phinisi' handcrafted from ironwood and teak. Thus she has been custom-made with all the luxury facilities for the modern diver.

I due ampi cortili permettono di passare la giornata all'aperto, indispensabili per una tranquilla vacanza e sono completi di tavolo per esterni e barbecue. All'esterno dell'abitazione vi è una doccia coperta fornita di acqua calda per il ritorno dal mare, un lavabo, lavatrice e spazio per stendere la biancheria. L'appartamento è situato a Pescoluse (Marina di Salve) in via della Tortorella 26 e dista 200 metri dal mare (raggiungibile a piedi) PESCOLUSE (Marina di Salve) dista da S.M. di Leuca 15 Km; 40 Km da Gallipoli, 1 Km da Torre Vado, 1 km dalle Maldive. Pescoluse è apprezzato per il mare limpido e pulito dove iniziano chilometri di arenile dalla sabbia dorata e incantevole.
