Helpful for finding a huge variety of non-commercial images to use.  Many are high quality photos.

What you are viewing has been collected and organised using Diigo - another similar free bookmarking option is Delicious. With Diigo you can also add highlights and notes to each link, create groups and share your groups & links with others

You can use text from various sources such as text from an online speech or any typed words to create your word clouds - you get to choose your favourite colours and style. Your word clouds can be inserted in presentations or other documents.

For easy sharing of ideas and group discussions. You can post text, images, weblinks etc.

This site is longer active but it gives some great ideas for a group research/IT project. Covers areas of science, geography and art.

A variety of topics are covered. I have saved this page with a focus on the history topics. Good for short searching practice sessions
