I think this site is very useful in the classroom - it runs as an app on iPads and Phones and it can also be accessed by the website on any internet enabled device or computer.
You can conduct class polls, single questions or quizzes and receive immediate feedback on your screen. Students enter your room number to participate but do not need an account or any other sign in details - it is one of the easiest apps I have used.
Actual daily question for the Google a Day challenge. Users are timed as they find the answer to a given question through their searching techniques - users can gain points for finding the correct answer.
A PowerPoint style document that has searching tips and worked examples of how to search successfully for a particular topic. Page 4 onwards has the most useful info. Good for ideas for a class discussion or can be used to show the worked examples.
