Interesting site with what looks like free mind games but have not had a chance to look into it fully.

Thinkport works in concert with Education Arcade, especially on Labyrinth. But Think port has some excellent offerings as well including a full STEM Consortium, ahd games that stretch the grade level gambit from PK-16.

Players are one of 12 characters in Boston's Chinatown, navigating the city and trying to find a place to live, a livelihood, recreation, and cultural expression. The game helps learners develop a broader view of all the factors that form community and how different communities interact with each other and larger social forces. I got lost in Boston's Chinatown one time.

This game has the player taking on different roles to learn about what kind of planet humans need to survive. There's a cute little ferret that talks you through the different training modules and missions. It's a great place to learn about our planet and what makes it habitable. This site has the California standards but the activities could be used with the TEKS. This will tell students how much calcium they need and gives them information on how to get it. This would be a good site for students to check the nutrition they get from the meals they eat outside of school.

looks like skills type games - but plenty to look at.

The Pacific Science Center runs this site. There are several games that students can play that has them identifying the nutrition they need and in what they eat. This site also helps students learn if what they're eating is healthy for them.

This site has games and a nutrition tracker students can download to keep track of what they're eating. This is a good site for students to get charts to start their research and a shopping list that encourages students to pay attention to the food pyramid.

This site is for elementary students and has interactive games that allow students to explore food safety, nutrition, and what they need to have a healthy body.
